| Radar Jamming |
None |
| Laser Jamming |
Both products provide active Blinder m45 laser jamming on the front and rear of your vehicle against every laser gun manufacturer today:
Kustom, Stalker, LTI and Laser Atlanta laser guns used in the USA, as well as Riegl & Laveg European laser guns.
The jamming will cause the laser guns to go blank display, during which time you adjust your speed accordingly, and then shut your jammer off.
The m45 laser jammers outperform K40 Defuser, Escort ZR3, Bel LP904, Lidatek LE30, Rocky Mountain Radar, which is proven again in the 2003 Laser Jammer shoot out by Speed Measurement Labs, August 03, El Paso, TX.

| Radar Detect |
Both PRS3-B and PRS3-E provide superb radar detection to the front, however, they use two approaches with slightly different features:
The PRS3-B provides for a single remote Bel VRX 75 radar detectors, front with a single remote display to indicate X/K/Ka/L alerts
The VRX75 will detect traditional radar, the superwide Ka frequencies, as well as the new POP III K and Ka band
The VRX75 will be invisible to VG2 radar detector detector (RDD), as well as Spectre RDD and MDS RDD
The VRX75 has voice alerts as well as audio and visual alerts
The VRX75 offers less noise interference, faster radar detection, and the most user friendly programmable capabilities today.
The PRS3-E provides for a single Escort 8500, windshield mounted, radar detector with front detection and a single display to indicate X/K/Ka/L alerts
The E8500 will detect traditional radar, the superwide Ka frequencies, as well as the new POP III K and Ka band
The E8500 will be invisible to VG2 radar detector detector (RDD), almost as well as VRX75 with Spectre RDD and MDS RDD
The E8500 does not have voice alerts, but has traditional audio and visual alerts
The E8500 offers the same level of noise protection as the VRX75, equal radar detection, and a very user friendly programmable capability. |
| Remote Display |
The PRS3-B provides a remote display with excellent alerts, visual effects and programming capability, where as the E8500 does not have a remote display. |
| Voice Alerts |
The PRS3-B offers voice alerts as well as an in dash bezel that permits the display interface to be mounted in a professional way.
The PRS3-E does not have voice alerts, nor an in dash bezel. |
| Anti Laser Veil |
Both PRS2-B and PRS2-V provide a special laser material to coat your plates and headlights/tail lights to reduce laser gun distance acquisition. |
| Anti Photo |
Both PRS2-V and PRS2-B provide two Chameleon anti-photo plates which will cause most road cameras not to get an image of your license plate. |
| Remote Install |
Both PRS2-B and PRS2-V are designed for remote install and cockpit display. |
| Summary |
The PRS2-B has two distinct radar detectors, superb radar detection including Bee POP III K and Ka band radar, invisibility to VG2, Spectre and MDS RDD, laser and radar jamming, etc., it is clearly more capable than the PRS2-V, and has a very nice display interface.
The PRS2-B gets the highest rating possible, 5 stars, ultra high performance. All sub-systems are rated by SML as #1 performance.
The PRS2-V has a single radar detector module with front/rear/side arrow alerts, but does not detect Bee POP III K and Ka radar, and is not invisible to Spectre and MDS RDD, yet has outstanding radar detection, laser and radar jamming, etc., thus the PRS2-V gets the 2nd highest rating possible,
The PRS2-V gets 4 stars, high performance. All sub-systems are rated by SML as #1 or #2 performance. |
| Application |
The PRS2-B and PRS2-V provides front and rear protection.
The PRS2-B would be more compatible for Long Distance haulers, East Coast drivers, Canadian drivers, South American drivers, Asian drivers, who want ultra-high performance, but do not want a radar jammer.
The PRS2-V would be more compatible for drivers who want high performance, but no radar jamming, and are willing to sacrifice some performance for a reduced cost.
The PRS2-V would support all drivers in the US as well as in Europe, since it also detects Ku radar. |
