The Valentine 1 is the #3 rated radar detector available today. Ka superwide performance is superb at 4 miles away, even over slight hills. K and X band radar detection is also quite good at 3 miles-plus.  The V1 also detects Ku for European and Asian support The V1 can be programmed to shut X band off. And the V1 is completely able to work side-by-side with the Phantom RCD without both units detecting each other.
