V1 Details

Speed Measurement Labs performance review below can be summarized in this Carl For's quote: "The V-1 gives excellent performance on all radar bands and its directional arrows tell you where the radar is. Rear reception range of all radar bands is exceptional. Laser receiver is top notch.

The Valentine 1 is the #3 rated radar detector available today. Ka superwide performance is superb at 4 miles away, even over slight hills. K and X band radar detection is also quite good at 3 miles-plus.  The V1 also detects Ku for European and Asian support

The V1 can be programmed to shut X band off. And the V1 is completely able to work side-by-side with the Phantom RCD without both units detecting each other.

The V1 is most often used in the windshield, but the PROWLER Remote Systems permits the V1 to be hidden under the vehicle front or rear bumper to minimize theft and maximize radar and laser detection.
